composer for film and theater

Allison is an Emmy-nominated composer who has written and produced music for the documentary 5,000 Miles From Home, which aired on Chicago's WTTW (PBS), and the feature-length romantic comedy Get Happy (recipient of numerous festival awards, including the Gold Remi, and currently available on Amazon.)

Her music has been placed in numerous films and TV shows, including the feature Madtown (starring Milo Ventimiglia), Lifetime's Dance Moms, NBC's Last Call with Carson Daly and Don't Be Tardy for the Wedding.

2023 has kept me busy with several short films I hope you'll be able to see soon. The year began with the completion of The Fit (dir. Elijah Ostrow) a short started last fall as part of the 48 Hour Film Project.  I also collaborated with fellow composer Andrew Torissian on Malik Myers' action thriller, The Guild. And just this week, we wrapped a pilot for Tonia Willis's Pseudocide.  Over the summer, I scored music for two hilarious comedy shorts, Rahul Gandhi's On the Nose and Karanbir Singh Ahluwalia's Ring Around the Roti.  It's been an absolute joy to work with so many talented people on such varied and wonderful projects.
